Darius Adamson Jr is a multidisciplinary artist (Actor, Writer, Director, Producer, and Model) based in New York City. He is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (‘23) with a BFA in Theatre and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. At NYU, he completed his training at Playwrights Horizons Downtown Theatre School and Stonestreet Studios.
While he almost never wears hats in his daily life, Darius is wearer of many artistic hats, working on a variety of projects both on and off-stage, in front of the camera, and behind the camera. Acting credits include performances at The Flea Theater, NXTHVN, and the Balance Performing Arts Center. As a writer, Darius is an alumni of The Workshop Theatre’s Winter Writing Intensive (‘24), where he continued to develop his original play, A Very Special Episode, which was first developed at NYU.

Darius is also an experienced producer and curator of events, centering community building and artistic engagement. Darius produced a variety of events at Wild Geese Gallery in the Upper West Side, including cabaret concerts, The Young Filmmakers Series, open mic events, performer showcases, and more.
Other producing credits include God and All Her Children at The Tank (May 2025) and the PlayGround Producing Fellowship (‘23/24).
